A. Vacation time Recap:

After 1 year : full time employees are eligible for up-to 5 days/35 hours of vacation time.

7 hours are earned on a monthly basis after 1 year, if employee has worked a minimum of 140 hours that month.

Employees must be working on a scheduled dog while clocked in unless the appointment was no showed or canceled last minute without the opportunity to contact a pet on the waitlist.

Commision employees have 40 minutes after finishing last dog to clean work-station and handle any Moego needs before needing to clock out, unless they are required to wait for pick ups.

Commision Employees: Vacation pay is the commission gross average of the recent quarterly pay period.

Hourly Employees: Vacation pay is the normal hourly pay rate.

Support staff for Groomers

Groomers can receive assistance with bathing dogs to allow for extra groom dogs on their schedule when able to accept 6 or more dogs.

For support staff scheduling and hiring reasonings Groomers must agree to a consistent 6 dogs or more a day for support staff help.

(Large dogs counting as 2 dogs)

small dogs must be completed in 2 hours.

Medium dogs must be completed in 3 hours.

Large dogs much be completed in 4 hours.

for 6 dogs a bather will assist bathing and drying 2 dogs for the groomer.

for 7 dogs a bather will assist bathing and drying 3 dogs for the groomer

For groomers accepting 8 or more dogs in an 8 hour shift a dedicated support bather will be designated to them permanently and can request for support bathers to add nails and brushing to their duties. A dedicated support bather will receive a 20% tip out per shift.

Groomers are required to train their designated support groomer to provide the service they expect, if they are not meeting the groomers expectations please consult with management.

For Groomers who prefer less than 6 dogs and aren’t assisting with check ins or outs or other time-consuming responsibilities, bather assistance will not be available, and they must ensure their schedule is arranged to meet our expected turnaround time with minimal kennel time for clients.

B. Groomer Spending Fund:

Groomer company money is earned based on gross sales rates. Employees begin earning after 30 days of employment

Funds are calculated and funded on the first of each month . Employees can check their employee website or request a printout for balance.

DDP Fund can be spent on

New Blades and equipment from the DDP catalog

Magix Shears.

Sharpening

In House Seminars and Events.

Out of House Seminars and Expos.

Approved Continued Education Certificates.

Entry ticket for Grooming Competitions.

Usage of Spending Fund must be DDP earned funds and can’t be combined with outside money sources.

Commision Rate per DDP money rate Monthly sales

$11,000 + = $50

$8,000- $10,999 = $30

$6,000-$7,999 = $20

$3,000-$5,999= $5

Employee Discount:

after 6 months of employment:

In house seminars and event tickets are discounted by 50%

Out of House approved seminars and expos- Hotel and travel covered at no expense to staff attending.

Approved Continued Education Certificates- DDP will cover half of the cost. Employee will receive a refund after completion of course.
