Mackenzie Taitano

Hi, I’m Kenzie! I’m a bather and groomer apprentice at the Dashing Dog Parlour. Graduated Grooming Academy in 2019.

Ever since I was a little girl I knew pets were my passion. I grew up around and helped take care of bunnies, dogs, cats, and reptiles. After High school I took a job at a boarding facility while in real estate school but it didn’t take long to realize I wanted a career in the animal industry.

At the boarding facility I worked at, I gained a giant passion for not only pets but making pets feel safe and look their best. Working there I learned how to communicate with scared and timid dogs to make them feel more comfortable away from home. I’m learning fast and am so enthusiastic about where my skills will take me. In the future I’d love to learn more about poodle type cuts and other creative cuts. I love bringing an image to life! I would also love to expand my skills working with dogs who have a hard time with grooming, with time I would love to offer services to dogs in the shelter. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby and cant wait to help them feel and look their best!
